I first heard this song in study hall when I was a freshman in high school. I could not find it again until I went to the Ernest Tubbs Record shop in Nashville. Now you can pull it up on YouTube.

Anyways it is fair time in our part of the world, and this song points out all the reasons fairs should be gaining in popularity rather than decreasing. I believe the Tom Green County Fair is in San Angelo, Texas.
