    Hey Curt

    Don’t know if you’ll get this.

    But the colt your working with brings some up some suggestions. My thought is that you have to find the colts comfort zone. Example would be arm across the neck or scratching its crest, stroking its mane. Something that gets an exception signal, such as licking and chewing. Building from that action will get a work with response from the colt rather simply reacting to perceived pressures.
