I’ve heard this song at lots of openings for rodeos, but never this version. I like how he starts this out. Remember what Memorial Day is for-1rst to honor those who have died protecting our rights the flag stands for, and 2nd, I believe to recognize all those who have served in the military to protect our rights the flag stands for.
I don’t really like the term “Happy Memorial Day” it should be “Humble Memorial Day”. We ought to be humbled by the sacrifices that have been made.
Thanks Curt, for this post as well as all the others you write. On Memorial Day, I don’t mourn the loss of brave men, a few of them friends of mine. I am thankful such men lived.
