This is a Charlie Russell painting titled “The Wagon Boss.” The Scoop Loop this week will be about seeing things from the top of a hill so this is on theme.
My mom’s grandmother cleaned house for the Russells and my Mother gave me a book of prints that Charlie Russell gave my great grandmother. My favorite Russell is titled “The Roundup 2” and I will put it up here someday.

This is a great story that everyone involved with family and business should see. It is also one that shows a ranch business that does things right, from the way they manage resources to the way they market the products they produce. I can’t wait to learn more from them and see what contributions to the world they will make in the future. The sale is over and the next chapter already started but this is sure worth watching and sharing.

I find this interesting information and hope we in agriculture understand the power of social media and are aware of the real trends in the consumer. I feel we sometimes see things the way we want them and may be missing some important trends that we need to see coming or try to change.
