SHARK IN THE BATHTUB

Today’s music has ties to Tennessee, Hawaii, and Canada.

Dr. Hugh McCambell is a real character.  At the NCBA convention he hands out “stool samples” and promotes Tennessee beef.  He is lots of fun.

We were looking things over on the Parker Ranch in Hawaii with Keoki Wood and he had some classical music on, and I asked him what is was.  He showed me the CD case and it was Hugh.  He does a benefit concert every year and records it.  That was my first exposure.

Jennifer Houston of East Tennessee Livestock Center emailed me a while back asking for my address.  She said Dr. Hugh wanted to send me something.

I received a cd and a nice note.  Well I don’t have a CD player in the house and kept on forgetting to take it in vehicle. Last Wednesday   I was heading to Lethbridge, Alberta to work for Zoetis for a couple of days and remembered to put the cd in.

Dr Hugh McCambell is very entertaining.  It has great, funny story’s and he can play the piano and other instruments very well.  I like the way he sings and the songs he chooses.  I enjoyed it very much.  It’s my kind of entertainment and I am going to try to attend his concert next year.

I couldn’t find much on YouTube except this.  He actually sings this on the CD, so this is a little taste of what I listened to.  He tells story’s about things that have happened while riding bucking horses to working on zoo animals.  I don’t know if you would enjoy it, but I think I enjoyed it more than anything I’ve listened to in quite some time.

I put the picture on so if you want you can try to order one.  It’s for charity so you would be doing good for yourself and others.
