Tammy

I have not and still don’t feel like communicating much on this platform.

Since Tammy’s passing I have had a real empty feeling and lots of emotion.

I want to thank everyone that has supported us through this. It’s been very special.

When I feel like it I would like to share what we learned from all this journey of Tammy’s life that I got to be included in, and the wonderful world she created for us.

I would like to let you know some things that are happening.

Art of the cowgirl will be bigger and better than ever with Myself, Jaimie, Mesa and the great team Tammy gathered up keep the movement moving.

We will have a special gathering on Sunday afternoon, January 21rst in celebration of our Tammy’s life.

I am continually amazed at the impact Tammy had on everyone from her grandchildren to the whole ag/horse community as well as the movement for the bettering of lives not only for women, but everyone.

I was having breakfast a couple mornings ago listening to the radio telling myself I was going to get it together and get a check on my emotions and the Northern ag Network comes on and has a tribute to Tammy.

Patrick Gottch with the Cowgirl channel has dedicated their beautiful float in the Rose Parade to Tammy and her empty saddle will be led in the parade.

I can’t tell you how thankful our family is for all the wonderful thoughts and acts of kindness from the people of Ryegate to the world Tammy has created for herself and us.

I know she’s in a better place, but my place is really missing her.

Thank you to everyone that made Tammy’s life so special.

Curt

You don’t need to explain. Or communicate. This is your journey through grief. Your families journey. It is just that so many people loved and admired Tammy, we like to think of her as ours. And that is what she gave each and every person she met, love. Attention in that moment. She was truly beautiful.
I just lost my husband unexpectedly at age 59 the end of September. It is our journey. You don’t need to explain.
    Love to you all.

Curt and family, give yourself time to process all that you have gone thru, and navigate what is ahead of you. You’ll deal with everything in the best way you can, but suddenly something will slap you again and set you back. Tammy will be in our lives forever because of the world you created together and shared with all of us. Thank you for that. Love, Comfort, Hugs.

So sorry Curt, no words right now, so glad I got to know and ride with Tammy. You and Tammy left a forever memory etched in my thinking pattern. As a memory of our time together I will frequently play a favourite of Matt Robertsons ‘Silence In Hayden’. It just seems fitting. Be Strong, God works in mysterious ways.

    Your friend, Lorne
